The Nourish Method to Lasting Fat Loss is a 6 month individualised programme, where we run tests to identify your unique imbalances and nutritional needs. This enables us to remove the guesswork so that you know exactly what to focus on to lose weight sustainably without calorie counting.
It's a hybrid approach as we use a combination of individualised guidance, general nutrition and health education, online 1:1 support and optional group support so that you can receive substantially more guidance and support than you would working with a nutritionist outside of a programme.
Q How much does it cost?
The Weight Loss Breakthrough Call is free and it's there to help us complete a mini-assessment so that we can determine what approach you need to get results and whether we're a good fit to work together.
The Nourish Method looks different for everyone and once we know more about where you're stuck and your goals on the call, we'll be able to talk you through what The Nourish Method will look like for you and what that would cost.
Q If I join The Nourish Method, are you going to tell me what to eat?
We'll give you the information and guidance you need to make informed decisions about what to eat. We have resources to guide you, such as food lists, recipes and meal plans, however we're not prescriptive and we won't make you eat things you don't like nor expect you to eat a specific times. You can use and adapt our recipes or you can do your own thing using the food lists.
Q I already have a really good diet and don't eat any processed foods, plus I workout regularly. How is this going to help?
This is the case for many of the women that join The Nourish Method. While you may be eating really nutritious foods, the balance may not be optimal to best support your body. Further to this, food is the foundation but not the only factor. We'll be working on a lot more than just food.
This is also why we runs tests. Because, sometimes no amount of 'healthy 'eating' will address the underlying imbalances that may be causing stubborn weight. We may need to use short term supplements, functional foods and/ or lifestyle adjustments to properly address these imbalances.
Q Am I going to have to eat different things to my family?
No. There is no reason why your family can't eat the same stuff as you. It's easy to adapt the meals to suit different family members without having to cook several different things.
Q I'm a fussy eater/ I have multiple food sensitivities/ I'm vegan. Is this going to be a problem?
Nope. It's an individualised programme and we'll guide you to help you get a good balance based on what you can eat.
Sometimes when you have food intolerances, this can be due to imbalances in the gut. We'll be investigating gut health as this is a key area when it comes to hormone balance and metabolism. Often food intolerances resolve when you address the underlying cause.
Q My problems all started with peri-menopause. Will this help?
Yes! This programme was created because women who are peri-menopausal and menopausal need to nourish and heal their bodies in order to achieve weight loss. Counting calories just doesn't work when your hormones are imbalanced. It has been created with you in mind.
